Ashanté Green Creative Director of Dance Institute of Washington is the Dance Director of Dr. Vie SCH Dance Africa Dance. Ashanté studied under Debbie Allen, performing in her play, Pepito’s Story, in 2002.
Laveen Naidu, Ex Pat South African, Director of Dance St. James, is Director of Dr. Vie SCH Dance Africa Dance. Former Director of Dance Theatre of Harlem. Laveen’s television appearances include Sesame Street, PBS Channel 13, Thirteen Stories and Brian Lehrer Live.
Kahina Haynes, Executive Director of Dance Institute of Washington, is a passionate arts activist and the visionary architect behind DIW’s strategic revitalization following the significant loss of its Founder/Artistic Director, Fabian Barnes. Kahina is Head of Dr. Vie SCH Dance Africa Dance.
