Lauren Pryor, from Calgary Alberta Dr. Vie CrossFit Athlete
Lauren Pryor has been an athlete all her life. She participated in track and field for 11 years, competing at the national while attending the University of Lethbridge. After graduating she found the sport of Crossfit and quickly became an active competitor. In 2008 Lauren participated in the Crossfit World Games in Aromas, California. Unfortunately she was unable to finish due to an injury on one of the events. This only motivated her to qualify and participate in the Crossfit Word Games in 2009 where she placed 14th overall. In 2010, Lauren is qualified again and participated in the Crossfit World Games, hosted in Los Angeles, California and placed 33rd overall. Currently Lauren is training for the 2011 Cross fit games. The regional competition takes pleace at the end of May in Vancouver, and from this competition the athletes will be selected to go to the worlds in July.
